The Use of a dHUCP Device in the Management of Surgical Wound Dehiscence
Case History
A 69-year-old male with a history of diabetes and gangrene of several digits resulting in a transmetatarsal amputation with plantar flap closure presented with dehiscence at the plantar flap. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy and standard wound care was initially used for treatment with no success. After nine applications of dHUCP, the wound was fully healed.
