Vialize V1

Lyophilized Dehydrated Complete Human Placental Membrane (dCHPM)

Use of Lyophilized dCHPM Allograft for Wound Bed Preparation in a Trauma Induced Wound*

Case History

A healthy 32-year-old male presented with severe left foot injury following a car accident. The wound continued to present complications six weeks after an initial first ray amputation. Lyophilized dCHPM was placed one week prior to a split thickness skin graft (STSG). Within one week the granulation tissue increased from 40% to 90% wound bed coverage, and the STSG had fully taken within 3 weeks.

*Vialize is intended for use as a wound covering, or barrier membrane, over chronic and acute wounds.
