Derma-Gide is not indicated for use in third-degree burns or the presence of acute infection and should not be used until infections have been cleared. It should not be used in patients with known sensitivity to porcine material or collagen allergies nor should it be used on pregnant or breastfeeding women. Ensure excessive exudate, bleeding, and acute swelling is controlled prior to application. Derma-Gide is for single use only; for detailed information, refer to the Instructions For Use.
